Meet Amélie Jervay
Amélie Jervay (she/her) writes adult fiction often set against the backdrop of real events. Her work blends emotional depth, immersive storytelling, and themes that linger beyond the final page.
Her fiction draws on a lifelong curiosity about people, places, and the pressures that shape personal choices.
Born in Toronto, Canada, and educated at the postgraduate level, Amélie moved from health education into writing. Her training brings accuracy and care to the health and well-being themes in her novels, while travel to more than thirty-seven countries has sharpened her attention to language, place, and cultural nuance.
Her debut novel, Love in the Land of Plaid, is a contemporary romance set in the Scottish Highlands. Her second book, Love in the Land of Runes, will be released in Fall 2026. She has also completed two additional manuscripts, broadening her fiction into stories shaped by foreign financial interference, humanitarian displacement, and war crimes. She recently completed a sci-fi thriller sure to challenge your view of the universe.
For Amélie, research is the foundation that allows a story to move freely. Once that groundwork is complete, writing becomes an effortless joy: the story unfolds on the page, with some plot twists surprising even her.
